Get in touch
One address fits everything: general help, privacy requests, partnerships, and press. We read every message; please allow a few business days for a reply while the team is small.
What to email us about
General support
Trouble posting a listing, editing a sighting, or claiming a match? Tell us what you were trying to do, what happened instead, and if possible include the URL you were on.
Privacy and data requests
Requests to access, correct, or delete your personal data under PIPEDA. See our Privacy Policy for the full list of rights.
Reporting abuse or fake listings
You can use the Report button on any listing, sighting, or tip for faster in-app moderation. Email only if the report involves something the public form can't capture (harassment, impersonation of a named person, legal issues).
Partnerships and press
Many Canadian shelters, SPCAs, and humane societies already use Lost.ca to post strays their staff and volunteers come across, and to help reunite found pets with their owners. If you run a rescue, microchip registry, or news outlet, we'd love to hear from you. Say who you are and what you're hoping to do together.
For urgent lost-pet emergencies
If your pet is in immediate danger, call your local humane society or animal control from our Canadian shelters directory. For the post itself, the fastest thing you can do is report your lost pet so the listing is indexable by search engines and scrollable by neighbours immediately.
